There is a great deal of skepticism towards AI, with many people fearing that the technology will lead to mass unemployment. However, it was found in an MIT study that if businesses work together and trust each other while also maintaining public confidence then they can turn these suspicions around. This would ultimately result in increased economic benefits and societal progress as well as maintain global competitiveness when competing against countries who are more trusting of this new emerging technology such as China or India.
Building trust amongst all stakeholders may help accelerate social and economic outcomes from artificial intelligence adoption by creating positive perceptions about its potential impacts on society rather than negative ones which have been most prevalent since studies into AI began appearing last year at an alarming rate ; particularly those suggesting robots could take over human
